SUGAR LAND, Texas - September 12, 2023 — HCSS, a leading provider of software helping heavy civil construction businesses streamline their operations, announces a new partnership with Aquifer, a bidirectional data integration platform for the built world. From architecture and construction to engineering, Aquifer enables contractors and owners to move data between their different software applications while empowering them to perform more action-based data analysis.

“HCSS is a clear leader in heavy civil construction,” says Andrew Madonna, CEO  of Aquifer. “With the current increased investment in infrastructure nationwide, we see this partnership as our entry point into the realm of heavy civil construction.”

Aquifer will integrate with HCSS’s HeavyBid and HeavyJob software, helping HCSS and their customers work more efficiently by streamlining manual data entry across applications. Manual data entry results in data discrepancies between applications and lags in communication between parties, delaying project completion and eroding margins.

“For an industry where profit margin percentage frequently lands in the single digits, every efficiency matters,” says Rateb Almasri, Senior Product Manager of Partnerships & GTM at HCSS. “As a data integration solution specializing in construction technology, Aquifer will allow our customers to integrate their HCSS data across other applications in place across their organization, enabling operational automation.”

HCSS’s HeavyJob utilizes data from the field to provide current, accurate timelines, productivity, cost, and profitability data for project managers. This partnership will result in a high-synergy relationship—ultimately helping the customer by eliminating friction between applications and increasing operational efficiency. HCSS’s world-class tooling and Aquifer’s automatic data integration will further enable project managers to make intelligent business decisions based on actionable insights.

“Both HCSS and Aquifer are customer-focused companies,” says Madonna. “With this partnership, our mutual goal is to increase efficiency, reducing how much field employees have to deal with manual and repeated data entry. Aquifer can help make this data available in their ERPs and systems automatically and we are thrilled to bring these automations to HCSS’s customer base.”
